High/Scope is based on the theory that children learn by actively doing. It follows a holistic approach for the developmental learning programme provided. It is believed that children learn best through active experiences with the people they socialise with, the materials they encounter, events they become involved in and ideas they have, rather than through direct orchestrated teaching or sequenced exercises.

The High Scope preschool session is run in Frenchpark National School from 9.00am to 12.00pm for 38 weeks of the year.
