FULL DAY CARE<\/h2>[vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1753440146408{padding-right: 150px !important;}”]Our Full daycare Preschool Rooms are all about encouraging independence, confidence, and a love for learning as children prepare for the next big step\u2014starting school. Designed for children aged approximately 3 to 5 years, our environment is rich in learning opportunities while still being fun, nurturing, and child led.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We maintain a <\/span>child-to-staff ratio of 1:8 for our full daycare children and a <\/span>child-to-staff ratio of 1:11 during our sessional hours which are 9.00am – 12.00pm ensuring that each child receives plenty of individual attention and support. Our qualified and experienced team works to create a balance between guided activities and free play, helping children to develop socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. We follow a high scope background whilst incorporating Aistear and Siolta into our curriculum which encourages children’s learning through active engagement and independence.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We continue to follow the <\/span>Key Person Approach, meaning each child has a dedicated key worker who builds a close, supportive relationship with them. This helps children feel safe and confident to explore, ask questions, and express themselves.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our daily routine includes a variety of play-based learning experiences across all areas of development. These include early literacy and numeracy, science and discovery, arts and crafts, role play, music and movement, and small and large group activities. All activities are tailored to children’s interests and developmental levels, in line with the Aistear curriculum framework.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our <\/span>outdoor play area is an extension of the classroom, where children can run, climb, dig, ride bikes, and engage in nature-based learning. Outdoor play is a daily part of our routine, no matter the season.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We use the <\/span>Child Paths app to keep parents connected throughout the day, sharing photos, updates, and observations about your child\u2019s learning journey and milestones.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We understand that the preschool years are a crucial time for development, and we are committed to making these years happy, enriching, and full of positive memories.
