At Frenchpark & Districts Childcare CLG, we use the Child Paths app as a secure and user-friendly digital platform to enhance communication between our centre and parents, while also supporting each child’s learning journey. 

 

What is Child Paths?
Child Paths is a specialised childcare management and communication app used by early years and school-age services across Ireland. It allows educators to document, track, and share key aspects of each child’s daily experience, development, and progress in a secure, paperless way. 

Benefits of Child Paths for Parents and Families  

• Real time updates – parents/guardians receive daily information about their child’s meals, naps,, moods, activities and routines straight to your phone in real time. You will also receive any medicine administration, accident reports or reminders through our app. 

• Photos and observations – view photos, learning updates and observations that show how your child is growing, learning and engaging in their day 

• Secure messaging- communicate directly with our educators through a private and secure messaging feature to check in on your child or pass on any messages that may need to be given 

• Milestone tracking – keeps track of your child’s developmental milestones as recorded through our monthly observations by our educators, aligned with Aistear and Siolta frameworks
