Toddler Room
Our Toddler Room is designed to support the growing independence and curiosity of children aged around 2 to 3 years. At this age, toddlers are busy exploring their world, developing language, building friendships, and learning new skills every day—so we’ve created a space that’s safe, nurturing, and full of opportunities for discovery.
We maintain a low child-to-staff ratio of 1:6 to ensure each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive. Our experienced and caring team works closely with each child and their family to provide a consistent and reassuring environment.
We continue to follow the Key Person Approach, so each toddler has a dedicated key worker who helps build a strong, trusting relationship with them. This secure connection helps toddlers feel confident to explore and engage in new experiences.
Our daily routine balances structure and flexibility, including plenty of time for free play, group activities, outdoor fun, and rest. We support children as they begin learning important self-care skills such as feeding themselves, toilet training (when they’re ready), and expressing their needs and feelings.
In our toddler room, children have access to a wide range of age-appropriate toys and resources including puzzles, books, role play areas, construction materials, music, and arts & crafts. We encourage curiosity and imagination while also promoting early social and emotional development.
We also spend lots of time in our outdoor area, where toddlers can enjoy fresh air and develop their physical skills with trikes, climbing equipment, and group games.
Parents are kept up to date throughout the day via our Child Paths app, where we share updates, photos, and insights into your child’s learning and development.
We understand how important it is to feel confident and secure when your child is in our care. That’s why we work in partnership with parents every step of the way to ensure each child feels happy, safe, and supported as they continue to grow.
